How it work
UTS works with a combination of GPS/GPRS and GSM signals. The signals are provided by the GPS satellites, which covers entire world. The GPS transmitted signals are received by the tracker installed in your vehicle, which calculates its exact position based on the info received from multiple satellites. The data is then passed using GSM/GPRS, via cell phone infrastructure, to the central UTS server for further processing and collation.
Advantages
Various reports and monitoring functions included with UTS provide you with an invaluable insight into various parameters like Idling time of the vehicle, total distance covered and various over speeding data. This allows you to keep a check on your fuel costs, vehicle wear and tear and correct payment in case of outsourced drivers/vehicle etc. Our estimations are that for every 10 vehicles that are equipped with UTS, you can save the cost of one new vehicle every year.
